I will give him money to try betting, because I also don’t have the money that will be enough to feed his family, so he staked another bet. To my surprise, he won the game and got the money he needed.
What I want to know is: Did I do a good job by using gambling to save him? Or do I just make him have an interest in gambling as a source of income?
That is complete bullshit. If you really wanted to help him, you could have bought some cheap food at least within your budget. But you decided to give him some money to gamble more. Don't you know that losing streaks could continue for a long time? I don't know in which universe you are living in. You just made him think that he can gamble with the money and can't multiply his money so he can feed his family. What if the guy comes to the casino again with his entire salary with the hope of winning something but later loses them all? Would you take any responsibility? I don't think you will be there.
Yeah, that's like pushing him to gamble more.
Not just losing streaks, the first 10 bets could actually be lost. I mean, how many times have we won a thing on our first try? That's only for those who are super super lucky and that happens very rarely.
I have been gambling for a long time and I always consider the fact that the first 100 bets in slots will be a loss, it might give me x5 - x10 but it will never give me a high multiplier which is why I don't bet when I only have $1 in my wallet even with only $0.1 bet per round. That will mean I only have 10 tries and I don't believe I can win with that low amount of rolls.
