This is actually something I have thought about that's very concerning even though it might seem normal to a lot of people. Gambling isn't gender based but it doesn't change the fact that there are things the society don't want women to be engaged in and one of them is gambling, most men might see this as a red flag or turn off for them. It's interesting how women are now actively involved in gambling, some of them are even punters on Twitter and other social media platforms. I don't think they are capable of handling the emotional rollercoasters that comes with gambling
We can say that no matter where you go, you’ll find inequality because people often assume that women aren’t as capable as men. For example, when we see a woman gambling, we might think, “Why is she doing that?” Some just don’t understand that gambling is open to everyone, regardless of gender or social status. That's why, sometimes, we judge others for having this mindset about women, when in reality, we know they’re just having fun, just like men do.
I’m sure these women know exactly what they’re doing and understand their position. So why the double standard?
