Some people still believe that news can be used to manipulate the market. Example is if the United States SEC X account that was compromised could have been actually done by someone intentionally. The aim of the person could be to manipulate the crypto market. But aside that, I do not know how bitcoin price can be manipulated because having a marketcap of over $1 trillion is not a joke. Manipulation is almost impossible unlike on low marketcap coins.
That is true. Fundamental is a good way to manipulate the market for high cap coins like bitcoin. They try to create anxiety and panic with the news, thereby making weakers hands to sell off. For small capital coins or let's say shitcoins, it is not difficult to do by the whales but for decentralized coins, they go by the news created by the media.
Just for instance, the media has accumulated much news towards the November US election and this will be very good tool for manipulating the cryptocurrency market and bitcoin the mother coin.
