This isn't 70's anymore, we are in 2024 and I bet couples married share their fair share maintaining the family that means it's not more true that women is always doing the house chores. I do get that women supposed to be studying or atleast how they were in the past but we are talking about gender equality and we also have no proof to claim that women gamble more other than pure speculation so it's kind of invalid discussion further.
indeed there will be no valid claim that can show that female gamblers are increasing in number or more than male gamblers. in a situation like today, there is no longer any interest that separates gender. women can also work as manual laborers that are identical to men. They can choose whatever they want including gambling or other activities.
if you want a simple view, then we should go to a physical casino and see if we see more women or men playing there all the time. we should classify between online and physical gamblers. but still, it will not show any data, but it is enough to make our view on this topic.
It's very different though if we compare women as manual laborers, there are still job that is suited for men, than women in my opinion. But as far as gambling goes, there is no separated in gender. Both can play and be addicted simply as that. Although there are data that suggest that women are more risk averse, there could be some exception in this one. If you go to physical casinos, you can see a lot of women, young and beautiful, who sits on a baccarat or blackjack table.
Sometimes, I will just observed and see how this ladies are doing, and I will noticed that they are in a winning run or could be with someone playing along. But still, it didn't matter as women could also be aggressive in gambling and for the simply reason that men do as well, win as much money as they can.
