And many countries bought it. Some even used used this "Pegasus" software to spy on their political opponents.

I'm more of a tech guy and what interests me is what the hell was in those pagers because I've seen videos of them exploding and the force was comparable to a large firecracker. The problem is a firecracker would need to be the size of the pager to explode in such way. Is 80% of the package filled with batteries? Also, lithium batteries usually don't blow up but create a lot of smoke and burn for a long time. How did they make these things explode?
