It is not actually about getting smarter, but rather about getting more desperate and willing to cash the attention of a community he does not actually cares about. He still continues to be the same economical old-fashioned dinosaur which would not actually get into crypto if he was still in a position of power, as he was during his presidency.
I would bet as soon he gets into the white house again (assume he would win) he would forget about all the cryptocurrency advertisement he is doing and would get busy with other things related with a commercial war with China, or doing the bidding of the Kremlin.

Donald Trump is not an authentical Bitcoin user and he does not harbor the ideas behind Bitcoin, he tries to use this community and the apparent lack of representation we had have in politics since the beginning. That's all.
