I think they will still use blockchain for secret purposes, or specifically information… related to security or defense issues for example. Given the special security nature of blockchain, especially bitcoin, they could use it for a number of purposes. We cannot know what they will experiment with or what the ultimate goal of the government is until they announce it. One thing is for sure, they will try to understand and try to use blockchain first.
