Bitcoin Volatility in September
September is a challenging month for Bitcoin, with declines in 7 of the last 12 Septembers.
Op, when you're analysing Bitcoin volatility and referring to information like '7 out of 12' Septembers being bad, it would be good to see sources, so that one could understand how it was measured, against what etc.
I agree that a source of information is necessary. There is where you can check this information but I am not sure it's where OP got this information for the post.
https://cryptorank.io/price/bitcoin/analyticsI check in it is not too accurate. The Monthly Returns table shows that there are 9 years with red Septembers and 4 years with green Septembers and this year tends to be another green September.
Right now, Bitcoin is just 14% below the ATH, which I would say is great because it is rare that Bitcoin is so modestly below the ATH point. But if it's measured by average price compared to the previous month's average price, that's a different story, and we'll see September's results pretty soon as the month is nearing its end.
Bitcoin has some months of correction as expected and even with this long correction, Bitcoin does very well in this bull run. A first time ever, it broke ATH before its halving and if history repeats, we will see Bitcoin bull run continues in last 3 months of 2024 and in 2025 year.
