Well Indonesia according to research is one of the highest Muslim religious country with seriousness in their beliefs. I think they did that to avoid their children and most of their religious people to stay clear from addiction of gambling, pornography, cyber crime and other online deceptive and curruptive practices that will mislead or twist their Faith. Because internet can be distructive if not controlled.

But as for you @satscraper, I think in every country I believe there are offline or local gambling place which they gamble offline in a one on one bet which you can just follow up if you find it interesting. But if you can't play such games I guess you can log-in with your online gambling app and continue with your gambling using another country VPN I think maybe it would work.
