You're correct but you should understand that each time Chelsea performance is nothing to write home about they win and when they play well they lose, that's what I noticed maybe not in all games but that's it for me, so they need to change that initiative and try to make their performance look solid. I know the fans are happy at the 0-3 win but their sluggishness is too much, the midfield is not even what you can say did well, Caicedo and Enzo in that midfield is a no no for me. Is best to have Enzo than the man Caicedo, the two players don't have that much connection. Caicedo always playing the ball back at the defense which causes much pressure on the shaky defense of Chelsea, which isn't suppose to be, they need someone special to help out the DM position.
I think Chelsea defense is getting better though from the fact that Levi Colwill and Tosin did pretty well, I think Tosin deserved a starting position than Fofana, who often makes mistakes this guy is still far from his best after his injuries return but I hope he can do better soon, though I think A. Disasi did better than him when he came from the bench.
The midfield duo, Caicedo and Enzo was doing well but slowly get tired during the second half notably Caicedo but I think they can improve and I was pleased with the assist from Caicedo, hope he continues to make such good passes.
While Noni Madueke is such he greedy player, if not he had chance of helping Jackson getting an hattrick but opt for his own net, which was save by the keeper, not ignoring the fact that he also had Neto to lass but just want his goal which turned out pretty bad for him l, he needs to understand the meaning of teamwork, I hope Maresca would talk some sense to him
I agree with you, Tosin was good in that yesterday's encounter and that's why Fofana was pushed off the CB to the RB, I just pray for Gusto to come back from what ever is keeping him off the field of play so that Fofana can sit on the bench, his (Fofana) errors will one day cause Chelsea one day if he continues starting for the club. Disasi is someone that plays like Rudiger, he only need more playing time to boost his confidence, pairing Tosin and Disasi would be a better combination than having Tosin and Colwill, but let's see Enzo's selections in the next game.
I won't talk about the goals or assists from either Enzo and Caicedo, the major thing we should be considering or looking when it comes to these two guys is how well they secured the midfield and the way they track back. Good thing you noticed they started operating in slow mo, if the West Ham side was better they would have won the game because if a midfield is weak a better team can capitalize on it and win the game so these two guys are no good to work together.
Madueke has been more selfish right from the beginning and I don't feel he should be playing ahead of Mudryk honestly, fine he has the speed and skill but when it comes to team work like you said I can rate him zero. Since Madueke couldn't get a goal he started getting worried and it affected his play. Sometime I see him as a baby that cries each time he doesn't get what he wants and I don't think Enzo needs words to make him start playing for the team, the bench is the right spot for players who play to themselves and not to the team.
