Barcelona's 100% start to the season brought to a disappointing end last midweek after they traveled France to play against Monaco in their first UEFA Champions League game of the season and that brought many criticisms to the team. Some persons were of the opinion that despite Barcelona's previous results before the game, they do not have all it takes to win in big matches. In their response to the critics today, the Spanish La Liga league leaders delivered another scintillating performance against Villarreal to continue to their impressive performance in the league. My question now is should we consider Barcelona as a club that can only do well in the league and get beaten in European competitions?

Glad to see Barcelona has bounced back from their loss at UCL. They beat Villareal by a great margin. Their high-line defence worked as intended in this game. It looks scary to see them use high-line defense. But, it helped them trap their opponents in an offside position.

It seems to me Hansiball always prioritizes their attack over defense. It can be seen from how they took the big risk playing highline defence. But this is not gonna work against a club who fully understand how to leave from the trap. And there's room for improvement in their defence.

Their great win against Villareal cost them Ter Stegen. He will likely be out till the end of the season due to his injury.
