Trump has promised not to sell any Bitcoin in US custody. Rather, it will be a strategic reserve currency.

You should never believe anyone to be honest. The chances are they will do opposite of something they said before elections are much higher. I somewhat believe that trump will hold them but still, he doesn't own them. US Govt does. He is just there to serve to the people of America. I am not sure how much control he has on it even if hes elected as a President.

I also support Trump because I believe he will have a softer policy towards the crypto industry but believing everything he says is naive. Politicians do not deserve our full trust. Not to mention that using bitcoin as a strategic reserve in a country like the United States is not simple and the president cannot decide that on his own. This decision needs to be passed by both parties and Congress, and that will be harder than we think.

In my opinion, if the US really intended to do that, they would start buying and accumulating bitcoins instead of using confiscated bitcoins as strategic reserves because I don't think US law allows them to do that.
