Liverpool remains firmly in third place, the difference between first and last is already 12 points
Does this make Liverpool more in the race than Arsenal? I have lost confidence in both Arsenal and Liverpool to overtake Manchester city. I was thinking a new team will emerge this time, maybe Aston villa to surprise Manchester City.
It doesn't make Liverpool more in the race than Arsenal. This was because Arsenal has a home game left against Manchester City. If they can beat City at Emirates Stadium, they will get three more points.
They have only a one-point gap to Liverpool and two points to City. They're literally still in the title race this season. They have the same chances as Liverpool or City to enter the title race.
I have not given up on Aston Villa, they can be the Bayern leverkusen of England this season. Even if they don't do upto Leverkusen, they can do something surprising to everyone this season.
About Villa, they seem promising enough this season. They recorded a very good start to the season, but they often run out of energy at the late season. This must be something to be fixed asap.
