Entering the directories for Bitcoin Core, the blockchain and Armory databases into FILE / SETTINGS (for my setup locations on a spare fast SSD) made no change to the program. Neither did placing the same information into the armoryqt.conf file.
AFAIK, there are a couple of reports regarding the bug in "
File->Settings->Armory Database" setting doesn't work.
And it's reproducible, I've also tried it in my Windows11 machine and ArmoryQT.exe does still used the default dbdir.
For the using armoryqt.conf file, it should work. It worked in my test.
Probably reasons why it didn't work at your end; the file may actually be "
armoryqt.conf.txt" (
with hidden extension),
it's not placed inside Armory's datadir or there's actually a zombie process that kept the previous setting.
Anyways, these shouldn't be the cause of the issue unless your system drive where the default dbdir would be saved has very low available space left.
