Even if they want to look rich, but poor people do not have the capabilities to afford the luxury that rich people can easily get. That's why when it comes to luxurious outfits and materials, it's only the real rich ones can actually afford to buy it, while the poor ones may only afford those class A items, not actually the original ones, so they can still look rich and classy like how the rich ones were seen.
Exactly. It doesn't make sense that poor people can have outfits valued around $8000. Spending $8000 isn't a habit of poor people, only rich people can do it. At least, they are middle-class people who can buy the expensive outfits. I think it will be more sense if we compare middle-class and high-class people when it is about outfits.
In my opinion, expensive clothes and goods can be a choice, but it is not an indicator to see whether someone is rich or poor. even many rich people choose a simple lifestyle, while others may dress luxuriously to express themselves. Therefore, to judge someone poor or rich is not measured by what they wear.
I can agree that we can't measure how rich/poor someone based on clothes or goods only. However, when someone is wearing clothes or goods valued thousands dollars, he surely isn't a poor one. We must know how the capability of poor people to spend money. Instead of spending thousands dollars, they are even difficult to get hundred dollars. It is the reality, isn't it?
