Pioli might have done well for Al Nassr but I think the result is still below expectations because they have the quality of players needed to win the KSA league but they always fail at doing that. For several matches, they have failed to win Al Hilal and still lacking in consistency as well. The season might be young but judging from last season, the patter and sequence of play still persist. I still do not believe they will beat Al Hilal when they meet because I am not seeing anything special that they are playing.
But at least so far Pioli's arrival has had a big impact on Al Nassr, by recording two wins that became a big motivation for the club that previously only recorded one win from three early season matches. Pioli's arrival not only restored the players' confidence, but also showed Al Nassr's potential this season to compete for the SPL trophy quite big. Far from reasonable expectations because he has only played a few times with Al Nassr, we'll just see in the future how he will make Al Nassr consistent and of course be able to beat Al Hilal as the defending champion.
But what is certain is that Al Nassr still needs strong defenders and midfielders because so far Al Nassr's weaknesses have been in the defensive line and attacking midfielders to build more creative attacks. I think if Pioli is given the freedom to bring in some players, Al Nassr will be champions this season.
Pioli can be said to be successful so far because in a short time, Pioli has succeeded in building good relationships with the players and Pioli's presence also provides an injection of enthusiasm to the entire team, maybe this will continue in the following matches.
