I think Barcelona has to do more efforts to score enough goals to play comfortably.
Same goes for Real Madrid, they aren't well at all in my opinion so far. They can't inflict heavy damage on their opponent even though they have a good squad. Now Mbappe is injured and he might miss couple of matches including UEFA Champions League one.
It is indeed hard to believe that Real Madrid can't be more dominant. If you just the names on paper, you would think that they should be able to win games scoring five goals and yet it doesn't happen. I was quite surprised to see Mbappe having such a hard time after his arrival in Spain. I guess a lot of people around the world thought that he would dominate the league and score tons of goals. But it is quite the opposite and so far he was mostly scoring penalties. He was never in great shape.
Barcelona's 1-0 against Getafe sounds weak, but Barcelona was in full control. Still though a lucky punch can always happen and then points are lost. But Getafe only had one shot on target and 22% ball possession. There wasn't really any risk for Barcelona to lose that game.
