Well, the match, namely the Newcastle vs Man City match, is like the main dish this week. Even though it is the opening match this week. I agree we can't possibly miss this match. And I am also quite confident in the quality of Man City who can still be expected to win this match even though they cannot play several of their important players such as De Bruyne and Rodri who have minor injuries and are still unable to play. Luckily this season Gundogan has returned to Man City. So when De Bruyne is absent, Man City will not have much influence there.
Rodri's absence makes me not sure they can overcome Newcastle's resistance easily. Rodri has a very vital role in the squad every time Manchester City plays and I also heard that Kevin De Bruyne is also reported to be injured. So the only other options that Pep Guardiola will play are Kovacic and Gundogan
