I don’t think anyone is underestimating any club, and with the current condition of Manchester City, I don’t think Guardiola will underestimate any club because he won’t want to lose points unnecessarily. I know Manchester City are currently facing injury problems, but even without players that are injured, then Manchester City will still be able to win Newcastle because there is a replacement for those players on injury, so if not that Manchester City are playing against strong teams, it’s not really going to have a serious impact on the club’s performance.
I agree with you, Pep Guardiola is not that type of coach that would want to risk a match that is as important as any thing in the Premier League because of the team his side is playing against not even for a team like Newcastle that can easily defeat any team that tries to look down on them because of their recent performance since the beginning of the season. Regardless of the number of players that may not be available for the game tomorrow I believe Pep Guardiola will be starting his best 11 players to ensure he gets the away 3 points to keep his hopes of staying first in the league table otherwise Liverpool and Aston Villa will overtake them in the table so I think Pep Guardiola wouldn't want that to happen tomorrow.
