The match has ended with PSG winning. I didn't see anyway that PSG was going to lose this game as they played so well that Rennes didn't have any chance of coming back. Most of the goals came in the second half but still PSG was dominating the game although. PSG can now focus on the champions league games as they have won today's game. The man of the match for me was Barcola as he scored two goals in both halfs and that helped PSG to win the game. PSG was just shooting the ball anywhere as they got so many shots but alot of them wasn't really troubling the goalposts as only about 8 found it's way to the goalpost.
PSG managed to win easily, and the additional three points confirmed their position at the top of the Ligue 1 standings. The victory is certainly valuable capital for PSG, because next they will face Arsenal in the Champions League. Personally, I still believe PSG will be able to maintain their dominance in domestic competition, although this season Marseille looks quite serious about pressing PSG in the standings. I think that kind of pressure is very much needed, to make Ligue 1 more competitive and interesting to follow.
Meanwhile, in the Champions League, PSG were very lucky to beat Girona, but that luck seems like it will be difficult to recreate if they don't play better. Arsenal are currently quite tough, they were even able to provide fierce resistance to Man City in the Premier League. I think PSG will have difficulty beating Arsenal at the Emirates, in fact I tend to think PSG will lose points. We'll see if Enrique can lead his squad to victory, which is clear without Mbappe victory is difficult to achieve in the Champions League.
