I don't even think in a world of hyperinflation to the US dollar would we ever see a $1 shib price. If US dollar got that put of control the world economy would suffer and drag everything down with it. People wouldn't be sinking theor devaluing dollars in things like shib, maybe bitcoin but not shib. Too many coins now for everything to pop like that.
That might happen if the world still uses the USD as its reserve currency. But what if countries gradually move away from the US Dollar before it collapses? Then the only one affected would be the US. At the time of this writing, there are on-going efforts to "de-dollarize" everything. Countries like China, Russia, and other within the BRICS alliance are slowly moving away from the USD. They're planning on using their own currencies for global trade.
I remember when Putin required payments to be made in Rubles for oil-related transactions (that was 1-2 years ago). "De-Dollarization" will happen whenever we like it or not. It's inevitable. If there's "hyperinflation", you can bet worthless "meme" coins will go to the moon. But again, it would be of no use to "hodlers" as everything will be utterly-expensive. There's only one solution. And that's Bitcoin. Hopefully, people understand this before it's too late.
If you think the US financial system will collapse in our lifetime I don't know what to tell you. The world's reliance on the dollar alone will prop it up at a minimum. It's almost too big to fail. And even if it does collapse why would people put their money into memecoins? Lol nobody actually uses memecoins. If they want to use crypto they use bitcoin, period. All these other projects are fed by the greed of people who want to get rich quick.
