i personally do not think he will be actively involved in the crypto industry, and i guess it is for the better.

I don't think so. About Binance? He might not have a publicly disclosed position in the company anymore because that would probably not be the best for the company since he has been to prison and has been blamed for mishandling the funds of his customers or the company he was running, however, he will surely be around in the industry, might work on more startups or making investments, might even become an advisor somewhere in the industry. He won't be short of opportunities, but his time at Binance is over, I believe.

Now the key is whether he's actually learned from those screwups and is gonna focus on helping the industry grow in a healthy way, rather than just looking out for himself. If he can show that he's truly committed to doing what's right for the whole ecosystem, instead of just chasing personal gain, then I say we should be open to seeing what he can do.

If it's done honestly, there is nothing wrong with having personal goals or focusing on personal gains. Every person who starts a business or a project will most probably think of personal gains before doing it. There is always hope attached to it that you will earn money, have financial freedom, and may have generational wealth if you manage to run the business and grow it to become very big. Even in the cryptocurrency industry, if someone is honest with their work, they can have personal goals as well despite them doing things that might help the industry as a whole.
