Bayern has been tested today and they show how strong that they are because they took possession of the ball all through the match. It was juat that they didn't create a good chance of scoring the second goal in order for them to win Leverkusen.
Watching Live I didn't do the Bayern vs Leverkusen match like the Premier League match that I like, but I saw the Highlights of the Bayern vs Leverkusen match, it seemed that Leverkusen refused to lose to Bayern with the game they played even though Bayern statistics were better.We got a chance to enjoy a wonderful match. I would say Bayern Munich failed to win this match only because of Xabi Alonso's match strategy. Xabi Alonso is an excellent coach. And he is well aware that Leverkusen are far behind Bayern Munich this season. That's why in this match he has prepared his month strategy very carefully. Leverkusen performed very cautiously. Especially Leverkusen played defensively in this match. Leverkusen's players did not try to attack too much. They kept their defense strong. And Leverkusen got the expected result from the match. Bayern Munich's goal was to get full points in the match, but Alonso was happy to get 1 point from this match.
The match ended as I expected as both teams played their best but at the end of the day they shared points which shows a different thing from what most people expected to see in the game. Aside the ball possession that Bayern Munich dominated the match was a balanced game because seeing how both teams were very careful not to make mistakes shows that they believe so much that any mistakes they make they will get punished for it from their opponent. Vincent Kompany did an excellent job by instructing his players to attack and remember to fall back to defense when they lose the ball you could see how both teams tried not to concede goals after the 1:1 they played in the first half.
Xabi Alonso is a great coach he has proven that his team can face any team this season despite them not starting very strong like last season, the performance of his boys today shows that they are very much ready to defend their title this season.
Again I was wrong and I couldn't predict the results since I was not expecting to see a good performance from Kompany and his player against Xabi Alonso. Xabi Alonso is a good coach and we saw that in the last season clearly and that's why I was expecting to see Xabi Alonso and his team beating Bayern Munich again as they did in the past season this time they got a draw and the game ended with a 1-1 result.
The sad thing for Bayern Munich in this match was about their player, Kane he left the field while he was in pain in the second half which made the fans worried and even Kompany said he didn't know if Kane was injured or not and he just said he is not a doctor.
