Nobody said that was their end, neither is anyone doubting Guardiola's strategy, but the final result remains an uncertainty regardless of how they who's playing against who. I always knew this wasn't a straight win for City; I even made a sorta prediction in Holly's thread about it the previous day.
A low points gap like now is difficult for the top of the standings to maintain, of course because of pressure and so on. However, if Liverpool is consistent with their performance, then they can lead the standings for the next few weeks.
Liverpool's consistency should have been proven long ago with the fact that they haven't conceived too many goals since the season began. Have you taken a good look at the table? I'm not gonna be surprised that they're bagging this trophy this time around with the level of fine form they have.
