I agree withyou that Europa League winner thos season is unpredictable because the club that you think is veey strong based on their performance in their domestic league do disappoint their fans and the world because a club that is not in your mind will cone from nowhere and kick out the strong team thay you think is the favorite. The league is always full of surprises.
This is one of the reason why currently, I cannot predict who will be the winner because it turns out to be the opposite. Imagine with the high level of Liverpool and Leverkusen performance last season a club that finished in 4th position was able to mess them up and went home with the league. It will be better for one not to rush into conclusions but keep watching the league and with time we can pick out the two best to know which of them will be able to win the league.
The performance in the domestic league hasn't been the best indicator anyway in the past. Sevilla was so incredibly bad in La Liga the year they won the Europa League. Back then Sevilla has beaten Manchester United 2-5 in aggregate! In the semifinal they have beaten Juventus Turin and in the final they have beaten Roma. Now if you had to guess which position they finished in La Liga, you wouldn't think they finished 12th and didn't win the last four consecutive games. At some point they were fighting against relegation. That's why I have stopped predicting based on how a team is doing in the domestic league.
I think Sevilla is a completely different case, because they are really very good inside the Europa League, they are confident here and they are not afraid of anyone, no matter what opponent is waiting for them. I don't know how this can be explained, but their performances inside their league look a bit worse than inside the Europa League. However, they are not in the Eurocup this season, let's see if they can perform next season
