Hi, I am an occasional user of your forum, and am curious how people will react to the question: Do You Consider This To Be A Friendly Community? It wouldn't take long to find examples of both the good and bad, so let's keep it simple.
Questions: In general, do you think Bitcointalk.org is a friendly place, and/or would you be really comfortable telling close friends (offline, in the real world) that they should come here and sign up?
Considering the idea about tell friends about this forum, you must first know if they are interested in crypto currency. U Les you obviously tell them about making money from the site through the signature campaign. And to me you must have like a prove to do that so they might play in. To do you you also must have to be a good contributor of this forum. You will serve as an example to them here on the forum. To answer your question, I consider this forum as a friendly community. Its only not friendly to those who might have been here on hearing that you can earn just by promotion. But failed to ask what process they must go through in other to gain such advantages.
I'm not sure what to do though. If it were me I would probably avoid telling others of this forum. Not only that, I would try to keep it a secret that, I'm a crypto user. I'm not saying bitcointalk is an unfriendly place, it is not. But the main issue is that, crypto is still banned at our country. I can't just tell around people hey i have been involved in crypto and crypto community. I have absolutely no idea, how would people react, if i suggested them this forum. At this moment, I have only told my family members about it. Maybe I might consider telling my close friends, but not more then that. I may not have issue with the people I know but there is a possibility of issue coming from the authority side. At the end of the day, I believe btt to be a friendly forum/community.
