I don't think there is much about human intelligence going on here, to be honest. It is rather about casinos and bookies being as clever as possible in order for them to make a good profit out the demand for wacky markets like those you have seen in this thread/discussion.
Instead of intelligence, I would rather call it randomness.
And the sky is not the limit, advertisment and techniques to influence over human beings are pretty much well defined and used in the markets. Casinos and bookies know this election is unprecedented and it is likely the one which will receive the most attention in a long time, so they are going to try to get as much wager volume as possible, keep people engaged with wacky and weied bets that serve as an appetizer for the main course coming in November.
Yeah, that's the thing, marketing for casinos is the key, they simply make money with people using their system.
They only need people to bet, it doesn't really matter what it is that they are betting on, the house will always win, because they get to make up the rules.
The odds are always against the gambler.
