Don't think there's any over hype recently with Chelsea's performance, back to back wins and we aren't struggling to win but doing it while scoring lots of goals too.
The direction was not clear when Pochetino was sacked at the time he looked to building something with the team and a couple of superfluous signings were made, but Enzo Maresca was a very good addition. He has a clear pattern of football he wants his team to play. I will not put it beyond him to challenge for the league title after a few seasons or sooner even.
PS: Pep leaving isn't going to be good for the league, other managers need to catch up. They need him to be giving them the challenge. If he leaves others will relax.
He will not stay forever, he normally does not stay this long at a club, so it is no surprise he may be leaving soon. I will thoroughly enjoy winning a league title while he is still at the league.
