Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta has just announce that he would be retired from football in this month and currently he is 40 years old and last time he was play with Emirates FC on season 2023/2024 and after his contract ended with this team currently Iniesta have no club and Iniesta said he has been reach his limit that with his current age it is impossble to continue playing and managed his fitness condition so that's why Iniesta has decide to retired.
He's looking very old and I don't know why he didn't end his career since when he was playing at top form. If I was a player, I'll rather end my career at the top than to keep playing and destroy all the legacy that I have created when I was playing at my peak. I also saw that some individuals are angry that Fabrizio Romano made the announcement before Andres Iniesta got the opportunity to make the announcement himself. I do not see anything wrong with that decision as he's a journalist and his job is to give us information about footballers and he was just doing his job. Andres Iniesta had a very successful career and he'll be retiring as a league in the game.
