it was a really commendable one from Aston Villa in that game, even when it felt like they were lucky, it still turned out they are winners and have been able to get the complete points in that game unlike before when they will be struggling at some point to win Bayern Munich in a champions league game where they aren't experienced enough, even in the game it was obvious they were not playing really well but were just defensive and got lucky at some point with which they were able to secure the victory. all premier league teams are doing well.
The ball possession of Aston Villa was seriously weak, but possessions don't win game but goals and that's is what they made in the end second half. Bayern Munich tried to be honest, 7 shots on target yet they couldn't score any goal but Aston Villa had just 2 and one was goal out of it. I mean it's jaw drawing that Bayern hasn't lose any match since the beginning of this season, not even in friendly match but Aston Villa manage to pass through despite the poor performing possession.
Now that the have done well in the Champions League, I hope they turn a new leaf here as well and do well to get a bigger spot in the Premier League, now they are in top 5 but going better place will perhaps make them come back a better place like last season. They finish among the top 4 last season but their last match against IPswitch town looks like people that wouldn't go far.
