Those who left huge stash of Bitcoin in their portifolio and died even when they have seen some negative sign about their health status, to me I will classify them as wicked people I mean that's not the best thing to do. Imagine having like 50 to 100 Bitcoin and then giving up the ghost without selling or letting anyone know about it, is it not a waste of investment. Just like I said, if they have someone they can share there seed phrase to it will be fine.
The discussion about someone leaving a seed phrase is always recurring without a consensus result because in the end everyone has their own thoughts on this matter.
It is certain that there will be pros and cons in this matter because after all, giving the seed phrase will indirectly give suspicion even though the purpose is good when we cannot survive due to age then we can pass on our assets or portopolio to our loved ones or closest people but in the end giving it from the start will also give suspicion because even though it is family there is no guarantee when talking about something of value they will be loyal.
So in this case I think it depends on the views of each of us whether we really need to tell the seeds we have at least to our spouses or closest people or not as a form of plan B in safeguarding so that the bitcoins we invest will be taken care of by the right people when we are no longer in the world.
I personally will still hold it myself for a while but it is not impossible that I will share it with my partner when conditions are not too possible for me to stay alive, it's just that for now I still feel that I myself can still maintain it, even though we don't know how long we live but in the end I am also still very open and my partner knows where I keep the seed but he doesn't really want to know it because he realizes his capacity which is still not necessary to know that.
