Dunno, I feel like they've tried to pick one player out of each team to make it look more random when there were clearly duos that worked perfectly through the game, of course, I didn't watch all matches and just the highlight but it would have been impossible even for the ones doing those to watch one a half day of football so I really think they just picked the ones that did best for the camera from each game.
I find the pick from flashscore far more down to earth even if it's not that randomly and more let's say down to earth.
