Madrid was indeed more favored in the match, but Lille played very well. Madrid did not press Lille's game completely. and that resulted in Lille's game also being able to develop. even Lille was quite confident in playing the ball in their own defense when getting pressure from Madrid players.
It was surprising that Madrid could not chase the 1 goal after trying to play Mbappe, Modric, and also Arda Guler. I thought at least they would play with both of them to score. but that didn't happen. a pretty bad result for Madrid.
