Just follow the instructions in those links provided by @_act_ and the advice of other forum users and you are good to go, as a newbie it will be hard for you to always be here but you need to know that one of the important thing that will help you navigate the forum and upgrade to another rank is "consistency" always be consistent in the forum, follow up with new threads and join only in conversations you know something about and don't hesitate to walk away from threads you have nothing to contribute or say to avoid being tagged as a shitposter, don't be in a hurry to teach others what you are not good at or what you know nothing about, don't be a teacher here just yet, you are still a newbie so act like one. I wouldn't blame you for thinking this way because I have seen such things happen here but I want you to know that it's very important for you to be tough skinned in order to survive here, as long as you know that you are not breaking the rules don't be afraid of criticism or being savaged to say what you want to say or ask questions about what you don't know. A popular adage my people always say is that "a closed mouth is a closed destiny" so always speak up and damn the consequences for speaking your mind. I can now see that the forum is newbie friendly now which is a good thing for us.
