Yeah I can see chess being on the same level but that's not completely random like poker is.  Poker still has a gambling element to it in that you can't predict the cards ypu are going to get whereas in chess everything is right out in front of ypu no surprises.  To put it cleanly anytime you are playing against individuals and not the house ypu habe an opportunity to consistently win based on your level of play.  Poker is a beautiful game like that.

You're absolutely right, in chess things are on a different level , they're more Controlled and the best thing is that it can be by ourselves and even so we know when all is lost and the chances of seeing luck are almost impossible, unless our Opponent becomes very Distracted and leaves Everything like that , then it's not the same as in poker, in poker there's always that , that ingredient of not being able to have total control Which makes us immune to total control of things, sometimes we have to resort to trying to be lucky when we're playing.
