The 2 draws that Man United got were actually the best results and that was one of Ten Hag's plans when the Man United squad was unable to get 3 points, at least holding a draw would give 1 point which is better than losing points. The results are indeed not too impressive but believe it or not I also doubt Ten Hag's team. Man United is increasingly under great pressure and the coach also continues to receive bad criticism that can affect the future of the team. And my prediction is that Man United will not last long in the European league match.
Manchester United basically tried more to score goals in that match, only things were never easy. Porto was more eager to win the match, while Manchester United played under pressure. Ten Hag clearly received criticism, but that did not dampen his intention to improve the team's performance.
If Ten Hag is not able to improve Manchester United's performance this season, then I am sure this will be his last season at Old Trafford. It's not good to keep a coach who fails to improve the quality of the team for longer, so his dismissal will hopefully help the team come up with a better plan with another coach.
I saw an interview in some social media where I was watching reels with him, Ten Haag saying explicitly please dismiss me answering some questions from I don't know who as it was a short reel from Instagram. It is going to be beneficial to remove him as since the time he came he made a mess out of a very good rose of players who no matter they were not getting good results they were playing well, since this guy came not only they played not well anymore but kept going from bad to worse and I really still to this day do not understand Manchester United upper management, if I were in their shoes I would have sacked him a long time ago and that would be the most correct decision seeing the situation for some years now. He promises from ages now to improve team performance but it is something that is not happening, and if it did not happen in three years I doubt it is going to be happening now.
