Though I do love it better when the trio (Rodrygo, Mbappe and Vinicius) are in the same game while Real Madrid game is relatively going well for them while Villarreal are still fighting, I hope Real madrid can add more goals early to kill their fighting spirit, with goal(s) from Mbappe while also expecting Rodrygo to be given a chance today and I hope he just be one hell of a super sun as often as before.
The second half was no better than the first, so the intensity of the game was different. Villarreal are trying to develop the game, but so far they seem to be failing to find goals. Kylian Mbappe was replaced with Rodrygo coming on, then Vinicius with a powerful shot found the Villarreal goal for Real Madrid's second goal.
Real Madrid have much better players than Villarreal, so I wouldn't wonder why Villarreal lost. Winning 2-0 over their opponents clearly makes Real Madrid more comfortable controlling the game, they just need to maintain it while creat up opportunities to score additional goals.
