I honestly don't consider the draw against Atletico to be inconsistent although the defeat against Lille earlier was a mistake and against their will but that's all that makes them wrong. The rest I don't see as inconsistent because they did it reasonably.
Real Madrid have failed to win in their last two games in all competitions which is why it's understandable that some football fans are now doubting their strength to beat Villarreal tonight but let's also not forget that Kylian Mbappe didn't start in any of these past two games. The France international starts tonight and that I think is a huge advantage to Real Madrid so my prediction is a straight win for Carlo Ancelotti's men.
It is undeniable that there may be some people who will definitely doubt Madrid's current situation because the results in the previous 2 matches were not too good but in the end they are still Madrid with their advantages.
