This is a disappointing result for Bayern Munich because they had to lose their victory when the match time was at the end, whether this was their bad luck or something else, because they played very well.
I question whether this was bad luck or not because I saw them very fragile in defense. Just imagine they had 24 additions and 13 of them were on target and 3 became goals. However, Frankfurt could only make 6 shots, 4 of which were on target and they successfully created 3 goals so they managed to avoid defeat. If you look at the match statistics, then they should have won, but the results say otherwise.
Although Bayern Munich had high hopes of winning this match most especially since there rivals and title contenders have dropped points and they also came back from a disappointing first loss of the season to Aston Villa. Now they have dropped another points in the league. If this match had been against other bottom clubs or even Frankfurt of last season I will have call it a disappointing performance but no this is a new Frankfurt we are experiencing this season and I was actually optimistic they will give Bayern a very tough time and seriously they didn’t disappoint. Frankfurt were second on this table coming to this game week I think that actually speaks volume of their performance, sometimes it isn’t about those shots but also the entire play.
Right now the table looks tight and Bayern Munich are still leading going into this international break, first I think I like the way Leipzig are actually going for it all at the moment they could provide a three head challenge for the tittle with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen because I certainly do not see Dortmund contending with inconsistent performances
