Even though we know that his intention is only because of the support base but in the end when it is well realized when he is elected then it can be an advantage even though the impact for bitcoin itself is not too big.
Bitcoin was created also due to the sides effects of people idolizing and putting politicians on a level of importance they don't deserve and don't fit.
Now people are justifying this same behavior in order to support Bitcoin somehow, as if it needed politicians to exist, work and survive.
Trump was sympathetic to Bitcoin in 2016. He got elected and adopted an hostile stance towards it. Now that he is candidate again he is friendly to Bitcoin, but nothing guarantees his conduct will remain after the election.
As a Bitcoin enthusiast, I prefer to adopt a conscious and independant stance regards the hypothetical Trump's support on Bitcoin. That is to ignore politicians, to be prepared for any potential scenarios ahead, and the most important: to not allow politicians to use me or Bitcoin for their personal agendas, which aim centralization, dominance and the maintenance of a wicked human system based on lies and manipulation of the masses.
