Arsenal struggled in the game against Southampton because Arteta decided to do some experimenting with his starting lineup. Thomas Partey was positioned in right back and that decision had an impact on their performance in the first half. If Arteta had played his regular starting eleven, Arsenal would have easily gotten the goals. Saka has been on a different level since wearing the Captain band. Kai Harvertz keeps improving game after game, I just love the connection within the squad.
Saka has being a very important figure in the Arsenal squad, his impact in the team is above others and for any game that he doesn't play or doesn't have a better game, it is going to show as Arsenal won't play better. Arsenal played well in both half but they weren't just getting the final passes to score in the first half. It was the second half that everything began to start woking for Arsenal and Saka also got his goal. Southampton had no chance against Arsenal and they also made Arteta angry after their first goal. Arsenal scoring 3 goals in the second half was a perfect response to Southampton early goal. Saka now has more assists in the premier league.
