"Bankroll" is usually a term used in sports betting. From what I've read in some of the threads here, we need to be disciplined in managing our bankroll, typically betting only 5% to 10% per wager. So I'm curious: do bettors here really set up a bankroll first before they start gambling, or do they just gamble whenever they have available money?
Please share your experience whether positive or negative and what you learn from it.
This is important because we must be able to set a set amount, the goal is to limit the gambling that is done. Because in my opinion there are not a few cases that occur where players usually gamble by taking the wrong steps as if they have experienced defeat but they still allocate their money again in gambling and of course this is behavior that is actually not recommended even though we have a lot of money. Looking at the rights, it is indeed the right of each but we need to be aware that being excessive in things like this is not good.
When I first got to know gambling, I experienced something like this where before I gambled I thought that just by allocating the funds that I had determined, I would win, but in reality the defeat made me want to withdraw the money that had been lost by re-allocating the money to gambling and this invited bankruptcy to happen. At this time I am not so interested in gambling anymore, so with the money I allocated if the end result is a loss, then there is no extension of the gambling session that I do, this is actually simple but it depends on ourselves.
