Though it was widely believed that had FC Porto defeated Manchester United in their UEFA Europa League encounter last weekend, Erik ten Hag would've been sacked but I don't think that's true. My opinion is based on the confidence the Dutchman have on the club's management and how's he's been telling the media that he has a long term plan with the club management which is why he's still getting all the backings he's enjoying at the moment. Even after failing to win at Aston Villa yesterday, he still made statements that suggests that he's still very much in charge so wether Harry Maguire had scored that last minute equalizer at Porto last week or not, I feel Manchester United management would've still retained their club manager
I believe Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the other Manchester United bosses have made up their mind to stick with Erik Ten Hag no matter what. While I admire their confidence in the Dutchman, it will be delusional to think that ETH is going to do anything different from what he’s doing right now. I saw a clickbait post online today that said Jim Ratcliffe had fired Erik Ten Hag. I wonder when that is going to happen for real.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the rest can do whatever they like with Manchester united and Ten Hag but one thing that I know for sure is that the fans will not be happy with their decisions of keeping Ten Hag for so long with worst performance. Maybe by the time that after two seasons nothing changes, and the club have lost their prestige of been among the top clubs, the management would wake up from their slumber.
The hand writing is clearly written on the wall that Manchester United club is too big for Ten Hag to manage because he is confused and doesn't know what next to do in order to improve the team but only believes in luck than skill.
Manchester United put too big faith in ten hag, but the big challenge and the trust of the management is not able to make good enough his use of it at the moment, their current condition continues to deteriorate and Every season we see if there is no improvement in the Manchester United squad, Although he managed to bring two trophies such as the English League Cup and the FA Cup but their performance is not consistent both in the league and the European league, reportedly today Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Joel Glazer will have a meeting for discuss Ten Hag future in Manchester, so it is better for us to see what decision they will issue later regarding Ten Hag, but if you look at the results and decisions from last season evaluation, of course the decision to retain or fire Ten Hag is often more complex financially such as the difficulty of finding another coach and also the compensation they reportedly have to pay for Ten Hag for 15 million euros if he be fire.
