It is till the season matures properly that is, from next year that we can begin to look at the clubs that will be able to be in the title race for long. Chelseas and Aston Villa are doing pretty well but how long will they be able to keep to their consistency is what matters the most.
However, the top three clubs are always like that trying to compete with one another on who stays on top to be ahead of the others. Liverpool have successfully sit on the first position and if care is not taken, either Arsenal or City will take over. I will not be surprised if it is Arsenal's turn to be on top which means that if they do, they might remain on top of the table for long just as usual.
The Premier League has only been running for 7 weeks and I see a slight change in the standings where Chelsea under their new coach has shown improvement, they have the opportunity to shift strong candidates such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City as long as the most important thing is that Maresca is able to maintain his consistency, and for Aston Villa like the previous season under the guidance of Unai Emery they have become strong and should be watched out for.
In the previous seasons we were often presented with three strong candidates such as Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool who took turns topping the standings but in the end Man City lifted the trophy at the end of the season, will that happen again this season?
