Carvajal's injury will have an impact on Real Madrid's performance, because basically Real Madrid's performance itself is still not strong enough if they have to play in El Clasico without Carvajal. With that, of course it will be a difficult match for Real Madrid in El Clasico later and maybe,  it will still be a difficult match for Real Madrid for other matches including the Champions League match which has very tough competition and unpredictable results.

At least, Real Madrid's young squad still needs a senior player in the team even though there is still Modric and other senior players. But at least, Carvajal is the team captain at this moment, and the injury suffered by Carvajal is also very hard and takes a long time for Carvajal to recover.
