A friend who lives far away from me has also said the same, he got tired of gambling because it wasn't going his way but when he started talking it less seriously, that's when he started to get positive results.

The reason is because he initially saw gambling as means of wealth creation or a place to make money but as time goes he began to understand that gambling is a place to catch fun and not place to make money, but as he is catching the fun he can wager very little amount along line while having his fun he can win something extraordinary. But when he finally removed his mind and focused on fun aspect it becomes more simpler for him to win with ease without any hard feelings merged to it.
