Actually I am sure everyone can think about their condition with what they should do and what they should avoid, but indeed with circumstances that tend to force us to forget things that we should not do. However, I am very sure everyone has the idea that they have to keep themselves okay.
People who are tempted and carried away by the atmosphere are likely to experience misery or a point where they will spend a lot of money to fulfill their desires which are unlikely to happen in gambling.
The key is in ourselves, if we can be good in all aspects such as discipline in time, allocation of money for gambling, and other limitations then there will be no bad impact or perhaps more precisely it is unlikely to happen because with these things in my opinion it is the same as having an awareness that can make us avoid high-risk behavior.
