A friend who lives far away from me has also said the same, he got tired of gambling because it wasn't going his way but when he started talking it less seriously, that's when he started to get positive results.

Has anyone had the same experience before?

I had  such period when I was tired of gambling and  I figured out that the best way to cope with it was to switch to another activity so I have started my housing project that lasted for about couple of years.  However  when this project was over and my house was built  I became tired of my quiet life in it with empty bottles of whisky around my chair near fireplace  thus I resumed my visits to local gambling shops and since moved to a full gambling life   which provided the real sensations to me,   however they are still what I feel  when I'm away from my main activity in life.

It looks like you have a wealthy life to do those things without getting into trouble financially. Not everyone have the capability to do that.

The same with OP, I think I was also feeling the same whenever I don't gamble for a day or two, I feel better, feel relieved, have no stress, and just enjoy the day. But when I gamble for a day, I feel all the pressure like the gambling site is taking what is mine without even giving back and playing tag with my money. That's what I hate when a losing streak happens, I feel cheated and afterward I get stressed.
There are times I also get tired playing and I think we should take that opportunity to think hard about what we are doing especially if it's already ruining our lives both mentally and financially.
