PSG have always got this dominating trait in the domestic league with them winning over and over again in their French league but despite that show of muscles and supremacy at the league level they have had an inconsistent performance in the UEFA Champions League over the years. Since the 1990s when they were able to reach the semifinals, they haven't gotten any significant achievement in the UEFA Champions.
It is recently, in 2020, the club was able to make some mark by reaching the Champions League Finals against Bayern Munich but unfortunately, they lost the match to the opposition. In the tournament after that, which was 2021, they also reached the level of semifinals but were some more defeated.
We're talking about the UEFA Champions League this season, talking about elite clubs that are based on streak winnings and having spectacular stats in this particular tournament. PSG are no where near this phase because they're just classified as a competitive club that have ambition for lesser results, when it comes to the main goal, they're left outside because they failed completely to develop main strategy. No threats for Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue One this season, not only this current campaign but in the past decades, they've always been ontop and back to back recording of streak winnings.
