"Bankroll" is usually a term used in sports betting. From what I've read in some of the threads here, we need to be disciplined in managing our bankroll, typically betting only 5% to 10% per wager. So I'm curious: do bettors here really set up a bankroll first before they start gambling, or do they just gamble whenever they have available money?
Setting bankrolls before gambling is essential because it helps to maintain your incomes and savings without disruptions to achieve your goals.

To me the 5% to 10% should be a maximum but there are circumstances bettors could be occupied with financial response which then may even demand lower percents like the 5% and the 10% because there are more other financial responsibilities to deal with than the gambling which may lead to lost of our funds at the course of chasing funs or profits instead of using it to solve the present challenges.

We as gamblers really need to be careful with our bankrolls so that we don't get carried away.
